Can you provide more detail about the analytics cookies?

Analytics cookies help us understand how often a user uses CZ GEN EPI or one of its features (i.e., our tree building pipeline). We use these cookies to help run and improve CZ GEN EPI. For example, if we observed that users are frequently applying filters to their sample data, this could provide a signal to our team that we need to expand filtering functionality and provide more advanced ways of querying the data.

While cookies are collected at the individual level, we will only run analytics on de-identified or aggregated data. To help ensure this, we don’t segment the data by a certain characteristic until there are enough users within that segment which prevents us from cutting the data on too small of a segment that may be easily identifiable.
