Deleting samples

Overview

Samples can be removed from the CZ GEN EPI platform at any time. Below are steps to delete samples from the platform. The steps described below use examples from the SARS-CoV-2 workspace; however, the same instructions apply to workspaces for other viruses.

Deleting samples

To remove samples that you no longer need on the platform:

1. Select the samples you wish to delete and select "Delete Sample" from the "More actions" dropdown menu on the right-hand side of the Sample Page.
   
   Once you select samples to delete, you will be able to click on the "More Actions" dropdown menu on the right-hand side of the Sample Page.
   
   Select "Delete Samples" from the dropdown menu.
2. A dialog box will appear, prompting you to confirm the sample deletion. If you are sure, delete the samples by clicking "Delete".
   
   Pop up dialog box to confirm sample deletion. If you are sure, continue to "Delete" the samples. Otherwise, "Cancel" and go back to the Sample Page.
